The bare minimum requirements for a mix/master are a stereo drum take, separate bass/guitar takes, and a dry vocal take. If you are able, please provide the following for the most detailed mix.

• Multitracks for all instruments at 24-bit, 48Khz with minimal printed effects.

• Drums: kick, snare, toms, (and/or each mic), OH/room (if available).

• DI (clean-ish) and/or recorded Mic’d guitar amplifier. Avoid sending printed reverb/delay, or send them as separate tracks.

• Dry vocal take (any reverb returns if applicable)

• Tempo and key, click track/count in (clearly marked downbeat), song layout. If there are multiple takes/versions, label them clearly (e.g., “Verse2_takeB”).

• Any reference mixes (2-5 songs you like the sound of), your definition of “right” (more aggressive low end? tighter snare? bigger vocal?), and any “do not change” notes.
